At Newcastle Drum Tuition the only consideration is that you learn to play drums in a relaxed fun filled environment. I've been developing players of all ages, styles and standards for over 15 years and enjoyment is the key to quicker learning.

I make it my business to make sure you leave each drum lesson a happy, motivated and improved musician. As you would expect Rock, Pop, Funk, Swing, Latin and World drumming styles are all part of the tuition programme but lessons in the art of military snare drum, Conga and Djembe playing are also available. For students wishing to receive certification for their efforts N.D.T. also teach the Trinity Guildhall and Rock School exam syllabuses and as a result of years of consistently high exam pass rates I enjoy the recognition of Trinity College as one of the most respected tutors in the region.

I continue to teach drums and percussion within local schools which gives me a valuable insight into the requirements of GCSE and A level performance submissions. Advice and instruction on exam preparation is another facet of N.D.T. services and can take a lot of stress out of what is a busy time for young musicians. Of course if you're a player who just wants all round improvement then as your drum teacher I can simply create a bespoke program for your development. All lessons are delivered on acoustic drums which makes N.D.T. different from many other teaching environments.
